Finding old images I’d overlooked is one perk to organizing my negatives.
Here’s another from the Route 66 road trip, this guy reached inside the car and stole our baby carrots.
Found a bunch of leftover shots of stuffed animals from my Route 66 roadtrip with Kay. I figure I have enough to keep this tradition alive for a month or two.
Twenty days later and the roadtrip is over.
I got to see seventeen states. I got a tattoo. I got pulled over four times. I got two speeding tickets and a written warning. I got my father’s car searched by a k9 unit. I got sick of all of the music on my sister and my ipod. I got to rummage through some of the best vintage stores that i’ve ever seen in my life. I got some fantastic souvenirs. I got along surprisingly well with my sister. I got upset and cried a couple of times. I got lost. I got clarity.
I broke a few rules unknowingly in this Reno casino. Firstly, I took pictures head on of the machines. Secondly, I gambled underage. Who knew that you have to be 21? I won $6, anyway.

20 days, 17 states, approximately 7,000 miles. One day left until we’re back to where we started. It’s bittersweet, but at least I have 5 leftover rolls of film in limbo.
