Took a break from editing the Manacio footage today to help fellow photographer, Cole Carter, with a photo assignment for his portrait class. I’m far more comfortable behind the camera, but I took one for the team since he let me borrow a skateboard and reflector for my shoot. It begun with Cole taking photos of the massive road rash I’m sporting on my thigh and forearm, a result of a downhill skateboarding spill I took yesterday. Somehow, the shoot ended up with me in my afro wig, in front of the upside down flag in my apartment. Of course, you can’t rock an afro without a jumpsuit. I can’t even lie, though, any excuse to use this $35 wig makes me happy. Money well spent.
