It’s been forever since I blogged, please forgive me in the name of finals! I’m happy to see that I haven’t been abandoned by my followers, thanks guys.

I’m no longer required to shoot black and white film, nor do I have to defend my photographs to an old, caucasian guy with a dated perspective on photography. As a celebration of these facts, I’ll be posting colorful, poorly composed images that I like because I fucking can. Life is sweet.

The final photo I’ll be posting from Coachella. It might be my favorite image that I’ve ever taken on a disposable camera, underwater shots aside.

I was frustrated with the pesky flash that you’re unable to turn off on these cameras, so I picked up a littered cup and covered the plastic bulb. I’ve tried covering the flash on cameras in the past, but it always creates this weird red lighting. Luckily, it captured the overhead light naturally, allowing me to document the beautiful thrifted silk kimono top that Kay lost that day. Isn’t it all so lovely?
