Coachella weekend one pictures brought to you in installments.
Starting now.

What a wonderful day it’s been. Things didn’t really start out that way. The wireless printer wasn’t working, adding a Kinko’s trip to my agenda. I requested my stop too late on the bus, adding 8 blocks of power walking to my journey. PG&E refused to come turn on my electricity, adding an hour of aggravation to my phone bill. Discouraged and prepared to camp out at my apartment, climbed on my rooftop to relieve some stress. As I pulled myself onto the roof, I heard the voice of an angel come out of the body of a PG&E technician standing below me. Ten minutes later, my apartment had energy. It’s been 6 months since my apartment caught fire, today is my first day having a fully functioning home :)
The final photo I’ll be posting from Coachella. It might be my favorite image that I’ve ever taken on a disposable camera, underwater shots aside.
I was frustrated with the pesky flash that you’re unable to turn off on these cameras, so I picked up a littered cup and covered the plastic bulb. I’ve tried covering the flash on cameras in the past, but it always creates this weird red lighting. Luckily, it captured the overhead light naturally, allowing me to document the beautiful thrifted silk kimono top that Kay lost that day. Isn’t it all so lovely?
Running low on film on the ferris wheel. The last night of Coachella, four shots left before Kanye’s set. Guessed aperture due to low light, rainbow glow and Kayla looking at the concerts below. This makes me so happy.
