From age fifteen, New Years Eve in the lobby of the Hilton. All the lies we must have told our parents that night…
Scanned a bunch of old photos from disposable cameras. This is from the roadtrip we took to LA when I was seventeen. Her hair’s even longer now.
The final photo I’ll be posting from Coachella. It might be my favorite image that I’ve ever taken on a disposable camera, underwater shots aside.
I was frustrated with the pesky flash that you’re unable to turn off on these cameras, so I picked up a littered cup and covered the plastic bulb. I’ve tried covering the flash on cameras in the past, but it always creates this weird red lighting. Luckily, it captured the overhead light naturally, allowing me to document the beautiful thrifted silk kimono top that Kay lost that day. Isn’t it all so lovely?
